Something wasn't right and Amachi knew it, the air felt tense as Amachi, Darlo and Maglo followed Khan to where the second Congalala was now being fought three miles away from camp. "Something isn't right about this Congalala" Khan said as he started to jog to try to speed the others up "What'd mean something isn't right?" Maglo asked trying to get a bit more information out of Kahn "Honestly? No fucking clue" Khan replied as he broke into a sprint knowing that they were within one mile of the other three hunters. Amachi, Darlo and Maglo were a bit further behind Khan and had seen him come to a complete stop but had realised why after getting there, the Congalala had been ripped to shreds by something but the other three hunters weren't there but screaming and shouting could be heard "What did this" Amachi said as he looked at the Congalala then taking another look at the area around which had also been completely destroyed. Trees had been split in half leaving a lot of bits of trees on the floor, the screaming and shouting got louder and could be understood a bit better but one voice was heard distinctly Juno's voice. "Help there's an invisible monster here" Juno shouted and was barely heard over a loud roar which followed a scream "We've got to hurry" Khan said as he sprinted off in the direction of the roar shortly followed by Amachi, Darlo and Maglo but as they arrived the area now looked like a battleground more than a jungle, Arci had woken back up but with no shield for her lance it was now like a giant tooth pick rather than a lance, Kari was behind Arci trying to cover her back but Juno was in a tree scared for her life "Help we can't see it and it nearly killed Kari" Juno shouted as she attempted climb higher up the tree. Kari had a chunk of her armour missing on her back from when she was attacked by what ever it was that attacked her but it was bigger than the Congalala for sure but as the other four hunters unsheathed their weapons Juno started to scream as she fell from the tree "Help it's got me" Juno shouted as hit the floor as pulled back up in the air. "What the fuck is happening" Darlo said as he looked at what was going on, what ever was there was now holding Juno in mid air "Ah stop it hurts!" Juno shouted but now the thing squeezing her was no longer invisible it looked like a tongue, Juno was trying to wriggle out the grip of this 'tongue' but it wasn't working, the tongue was now tightening and you could tell it was hurting Juno. Amachi charged in aiming for the tongue which was the only viewable part of the monster so far, Amachi went for a downwards slash which just bounced off it's tongue "Oh my god this is gonna be tough" Amachi said but as he turned round he now saw Darlo charging to assist attacking what ever this thing was but by now it had noticed that they were trying to help Juno so it had tightened it's grip on Juno making her cry out again "Ah, stop something's gonna break" Juno shouted as she kicked her legs out trying to get loss but wasn't succeeding but before Amachi could attempt to cut into the tongue it had tightened it's grip once again, instantly after it tightened it's grip there was a big crunch sound and then the monster let go off Juno and left her there. "My arm" Juno shouted as she grabbed her arm trying to ignore the pain but now the tongue was gone the only thing that was visible had disappeared "Let's tightly surround Juno" Khan shouted as he moved over to her shortly followed by the rest.

Helene had just woken up to remember that The Chief had told her only to work if she wanted to but Helene also remembered about the chest in her garden. Helene had walked out into her garden to see the chest sitting there and was still trying to think of what could actually be in this chest. Helene opened the chest as was surprised from what was in the chest, inside was all kinds of different kinds of monster materials and also ores most of which Helene had never heard of but there was a note on top of the pile there was a note which said.
'Dear Helene, All of these items are from the hunters of Buniyan who all want you to get better soon but also want you to become a great hunter and this is there way to show it. Yours sincerely The Chief and the hunters of Buniyan. P.S. There are weapons at the bottom of the crate for you to look at and learn from' Helene started to cry as she finished reading the letter but now she was determined to make some weapons that would slay any monster including elder dragons.

"I think I know what that thing is" Amachi said "What is it?" Arci said curiously as she began to think what could it be "It's an elder dragon called the Chameleos" Amachi said which sent a cold chill up everyone's back including Juno who was just getting up "Shit we're fucked" Juno said as stood up still holding her arm but Amachi had remembered something "I've heard that if you cut of it's horn and tail, it will become visible" Amachi said but Arci was already onto his idea "So all we need to do is make it visible long enough for us to hit it's horn? Easy" Arci shouted as she ran out into what looked like a bunch of trees and hit something with her lance but then they noticed blood started to appear then a big purple monster, which scared the shit out of all of them. "Quick someone grab Juno's bow and shoot it's horn" Amachi shouted but Darlo was one step ahead and had grabbed the hunters bow and had already taken aim at the horn. Darlo let go of the string letting the arrow fly through the air just missing it's horn but hitting it in the face angering the elder dragon but then they had all noticed that it also had scares covering it's body from previous battle but this monster was like nothing they had fought before and was battle hardened. Arci backed off instantly seeing that the Chameleos was angry "I think we should get out of here now" Khan said as he slowly back off "I don't think Juno will be able to run that fast" Darlo said as he sheathed his hammer away "Shut up I can still run" Juno replied trying to defend her honour but was ignored by Darlo "Get on my back now or you'll just slow us down" Darlo commanded to Juno which she just listened to and got on his back, they all turned and ran before the Chameleos could do anything but it wasn't long until it had noticed and let off an ear splitting roar but unable to cover their eyes they had to ignore and carry on running or the hunters would be the Chameleos' next victims. As they exited the denser tree infested section of the jungle and had now entered the more open plain like section of the jungle now letting them run a lot easier on smooth terrain "Slow down a bit I think it's gone" Arci said as she slowed down to a stop trying to regain her breath then the others all slowed down "Do you really think it's gone or given up" Darlo said as he wiped his face to get rid of some sweat but before the trees came crushing down "SHIT RUN!" Arci shouted but now the beast had it just as easy as the hunters running on smooth ground and was now slowly gaining on them. The tension was rising in the air as all seven of the hunters were trying to escape death's grip as the Chameleos chased behind, each of their bodies were starting to tire from having to run quite a distance through the jungle except for one person who's body was fine except her arm and that was Juno who was taking it easy but was just as scared as the rest were running away from death.

Helene had managed to pull the chest into her house but had just left it there, thinking to herself about if she could be bothered or not to do anything now. Helene had decided just to check the condition of the weapons that she had been given and what they actually were. The first weapon surprised her a True Devil Slicer what a weapon to give away the famous thunder katana, the second was nothing special in Helene's opinion but some people thought otherwise, it was a Tactical Blade which some people thought was an amazing weapon to use.

Still running Amachi had realised where they were. They were now two miles away from Guil but Amachi was pondering through his thoughts "I don't we'll make it" Amachi shouted but was shocked when he turned round to see Kari fighting the elder dragon head on "Don't worry I'll distract it for a while just get help" Kari shouted as she rolled under the Chameleos' tongue timing it perfectly but no one had noticed Kari stop running due to her being at the back to start off with but Khan had decided to run back and help her "You lot go ahead I'll help her" Khan shouted as he unsheathed his gun lance and ran towards the Chameleos.

Darlo and Juno were the first into the city gates of Guil but were closely followed by the other three "Lets go look for the guild" Arci said as she panted for air but as Arci looked up the others had already ran ahead "Wait for me!" Arci shouted. Darlo was the first to the big doors of the guild hall while still carrying Juno "Put me down now" Juno said but Darlo was already walking towards the guild door before Darlo put Juno back on the ground still holding her arm from the pain of it being broken. Darlo pushed open the doors of the guild to see a silent guild with nothing going on but while being packed with hunters but then he heard shouting going on then a small man exit a door, it looked like Tiberian the guild master of Panto's guild but Darlo and Juno had noticed that Tiberian was looking at them and was now coming over in their direction making both of them nervous. "So what'd you two want?" Tiberian asked as stood in front of two hunters "There is a Chameleos two miles away from here which two other hunters are fighting and will die if we don't help" Juno said. Tiberian's face changed instantly after hearing the world Chameleos "Oi every hunter that wants to fight a Chameleos, grab your gear and get up, NOW!" Tiberian shouted to every hunter in the hall, which about half got up "Shit that's a lot of hunters" Darlo whispered into Juno's ear making her laugh but was interrupted by Tiberian "Can you show us the direction of the Chameleos" Tiberian asked and got a nod of conformation. Amachi, Maglo and Arci had just reached the guildhall doors to see at least twenty hunters all pour out of the guildhall, all with different kinds of weapons and armour but then they noticed Darlo and Juno at the back and ran towards them. "What's going on?" Amachi said looking at Darlo for an answer but got a shout instead "DEATH TO THE CHAMELEOS!" Darlo shouted to then receive a massive roar of cheers from the twenty hunters.

"I don't think we'll last any longer" Khan said to Kari as they both got up from a previous attack from the Chameleos, they were both exhausted and just about had the strength to stand let alone fight an elder dragon. The Chameleos towered over the two hunters showing it's mighty power compared to theirs but as hunters they weren't going to run away from the Chameleos they were going to kill it "Lets fight it to the death" Kari said and then charged in without a second of thought but the Chameleos had green gas emitting from it's mouth and then it clicked. Khan had released what the gas "KARI GET BACK" Khan shouted trying to get Kari's attention but it was too late, the Chameleos had shot it's gas which hit Kari. Khan couldn't believe his eyes. Kari had been taken down so easily by the Chameleos but then Khan saw Kari's body start to move it looked like she wasn't dead after all but the Chameleos had done something to her and it wasn't looking good. Khan now had to think a lot more with the current conditions going on but the Chameleos was already moving towards Khan and had left Kari on the floor, Khan had moved back to give him to load his gun lance it had now become do or die.

Khan was now part aware of what the Chameleos could do but it was now invisible and he was once again the prey. Khan was trying to look for a slight change of the environment to notice the Chameleos but Khan had just remembered where he was, a field like plain where there was nothing to try to give away it's position. Khan heard a loud thump and he turned round to notice a green gas in mid-air and then saw a head, it was the Chameleos "I'm fucked" Khan whispered to himself and now fear had taken over his body making him unable to move for the first time in his life Khan was scared, Khan was scared for his very own life. Khan couldn't bring himself to move and had now realised that it was now late to move, the Chameleos raised it's front leg and smashed it straight into Khan's rib cage sending him flying away from the Chameleos, Khan thought to himself while he was lying on the grass not wanting to sit up from the fear of certain death "Khan don't worry I'll handle it for a bit" Kari said as she struggled to get up but was ready to die it seemed in Khan's eyes "No don't you'll die, you can just about stand" Khan said trying to get up himself but then felt a sharp pain around his chest, he looked down and realised his armour had been torn apart and he was bleeding from his chest from when the Chameleos hit him and got caught him with a claw. Kari was already walking up towards the Chameleos with her sword and shield held up high but Khan still couldn't believe was doing something so reckless but in his current state was forced to try to sit up and watch the fight. The sunny skies around Guil were now beginning to disappear as clouds started to pass overhead, it looked like it was about to rain which gave Khan a bad feeling "Today will end sadly" Khan said out loud as he watched Kari.

The twenty or more hunters were now closing in on where the Chameleos now was but had noticed that it had started to rain. "I've got a bad feeling about this" Tiberian said as he looked up at the sky but this made Darlo confused "Why have you got a bad feeling about this?" Darlo asked but never got an answer back, Tiberian just walked on "Mate hurry up, it has now become a life or death situation for those two hunters" Tiberian said to Darlo and then "Oh and what's you lots names" Tiberian asked Darlo and Darlo has remembered that he hasn't told Tiberian his name but Darlo knew his "My name is Darlo, the one with the long sword is Amachi, the one with the dual blades is Maglo, the one with a broken arm is Juno and Arci who uses a lance but her shield got broken" Darlo said as he took the lead of the group of hunters and knew exactly where he was, only one mile away from the Chameleos 'Please make it in time' Darlo thought to himself.

Kari was just trying not to be hit by the Chameleos otherwise that would've been her finished. The Chameleos lunged out to bite Kari but she swiftly dodged the bite and then stabbed at the beasts head, her sword went into the beast's cheek but as she tried to pull her sword back out it was stuck in the Chameleos' cheek. Kari had to let go of her weapon and run back to a safe distance, now without a weapon Kari chances of survival were now nil without her hunter's dagger but then she remembered that she had her carving knife it would be her only weapon for the time being and maybe her chance only chance to survive. Kari sprinted at the Chameleos trying attack somewhere vital which could help her but the elder dragon was one step ahead and had shot it's green gas at Kari which she rolled out of the way but she still didn't have enough energy to get up straight giving the Chameleos a chance to charge at her, Kari got up quick enough to dodge the charge but now with the Chameleos' back to her she attack it's tail but her knife just bounced off Kari never thought that it's tail would be so hard to hit through and now the Chameleos had turned back round and they were now facing each other hunter and monster. The Chameleos launched it's tongue from it's almighty mouth straight at Kari, she ducked underneath the tongue then rolled to the side and sprinted towards the elder dragon and was aiming for it's mouth but as Kari was about to cut open the tongue she noticed that it was coming back and had to roll away. Kari was starting to reach her limit and now had to do something to survive, Kari had moved a distance away from the Chameleos to give her a run up towards it then when Kari thought that she was a good distance away from it she sprinted at it. Kari was now only two metres away from the elder dragons' face and jumped with her knife aimed at it's face but the Chameleos stuck it's head out and the two made contact.

Kari had hit the horn of the Chameleos, Kari's body had gone straight into the Chameleos' horn, which pierced straight through and had come out the other side. Kari could feel her life being drained from her own body by the Chameleos and Kari could no longer anything about it but neither could Khan all he could do was sit and watch in horror as one of the closet people to him was dying. Kari was now near death and she knew it, Kari remembered she had the knife in her hand and looked the Chameleos so she aimed her knife into a position where Kari could just move arm, Kari lunged her arm forward straight into the Chameleos' eye causing the beast to let out a roar of anger and pain it then flicked it's head which sent Kari flying off it's horn and into the direction of Khan who was still in shock as he saw Kari's body come flying towards him and hit the floor but she still wasn't dead "No don't die Kari! PLEASE DON'T DIE!" Khan shouted as he bent over Kari's body hugging her "Don't worry Khan" Kari said as she put her arms around him hugging him back "I'll always be with…" Kari said before coughing a large amount of blood onto Khan's armour "I love you brother" Kari said as her grip holding onto Khan loosened and finally her arms slumped down with no life left in them, Kari was now dead "I'll always love you to my lovely sister" Khan said as he burst into tears and the Chameleos letting off another roar of anger, it looked like Khan was next.

Darlo could see the Chameleos from where he was now and the other hunters could know also see the Chameleos "Ok you five stay back, we'll handle this one" Tiberian said but before giving the order to attack Tiberian noticed a thing on the floor and then he looked again and noticed it was a hunter "Oi Darlo is that your friend" Tiberian said which Darlo came over to look and he noticed instantly who it was "That's Khan" Darlo said and ran over towards "Oi Amachi bring the others over here" Darlo shouted as he sprinted over to Khan but as Darlo got closer he saw that Khan was hugging something "Oi Khan what's that you've got there" Darlo asked in confusion but then he saw Kari's face with no colour in it "Don't tell she's…" Darlo said but before Darlo could finish his sentience Khan nodded his head which was confirmation enough for Darlo as he fell to the floor and thought to himself 'We were to late' but then Khan said something "If it's possible could I have the Chameleos' horn in honour of Kari" Darlo just nodded and as the other four arrived they all saw Kari's face and knew instantly what had happened. Darlo got up and ran towards Tiberian "If you can one of the hunters has asked can he keep the Chameleos' horn in memory of the other hunter" Darlo said to Tiberian who just nodded "So one of the hunters died… shit!" Tiberian said he punched into the sky and then repeated what Khan had asked to the other hunters and they all cheered back "Today we kill and elder dragon" Tiberian shouted as twenty hunters ran past him all heading for the Chameleos "Oh and one last thing, there are guild carriages on their way to pick everyone up after so you can leave the second you receive the horn but I need you all to go back to your village" Tiberian said before running off to the battle. Darlo walked over to the other five hunters and now deceased Kari who Khan was still holding tightly in his arms "Come on lets move a bit further away while they kill the Chameleos" Darlo said as he pointed in the direction of "Oh yeah, we all need to go back to Buniyan" Darlo said which made Juno and Arci give him weird looks "What'd you mean our friend is dead and you've just said this" Juno shouted but Darlo just ignored and pushed her to the ground "I was told this by Tiberian who is the head of two guilds" Darlo said as he walked over to the direction Tiberian told him.

The Chameleos was no more, it was dead and no casualties from the twenty hunters, Kari and Khan were in one guild carriage with Arci on the top and Maglo, Amachi, Darlo and Juno were in another guild carriage now only two miles away from Buniyan and the time was now nine o'clock at night, the desert was starting to become a beautiful sight as it normally did at night "Why is Khan sticking to Kari so much even though she's dead?"  Darlo asked Juno wanting to get answer "Well I think there are really close friends or something like that" Juno replied but Juno's face sank when ever any of them mentioned Kari. The village gates were open to let the hunters in and were allowed to go straight to the guild, as they approached the guild The Chief, Helene and Kai walked out of the guild and behind them was coffin word of what had happened had travelled quickly giving The Chief time to prepare a coffin for Kari. Khan exited his carriage first to see the coffin sitting there ready and beautifully decorated with Kari's name on it, Khan just broke out in tears on top of the coffin. It was just to much to bare. The others just stood behind the coffin while Khan was taking his sister's body out of the carriage and put it carefully into the coffin "The coffin will be sent of to your home town of Kokoto or so I've been told" The Chief said to Khan, Arci and Juno but they all just nodded still thinking about Kari "Any words of respect for Kari" The Chief said to of which Khan stepped forward instantly. "Kari was the best older sister and hunter I could ever ask for" Khan said before he started crying again "But I wish it could've been me who was in that coffin right now instead of Kar…" Khan couldn't finish his sentence, Khan was now unable to control his tears and was sitting above his sister crying onto her face. The Chief had ordered the coffin to be brought to Kokoto in a guild carriage as quick as possible "Now then your village elder wants to stay here in Buniyan for at least four months to practice your hunting skills" The Chief said but Juno was instantly in a protest about this "What! Why have we gotta stay here!" Juno said but was ignored by The Chief "Now I'll be telling you who your staying with for the next four months" The Chief. He first pointed at Arci "You Arci will be staying with Helene over here" The Chief said as Helene stepped out from behind him "She's a hunter who is paired with this lot but it currently not allowed to hunt due to an injury" he then look at Khan "Khan you will be staying with Amachi" The Chief and Khan just nodded his head still trying to get over his sisters death. "Last but not least Juno, you will stay with Darlo" The Chief but Juno was about to complain when Khan stepped in front of her and covered her mouth "It's not the time or place to complain" Khan said to Juno before he moved his hand away and walked towards Amachi, 'It's gonna like this for the next four months, how shit' Juno thought to herself before following Darlo as he walked off.
